What is the Vivir el Vino Guide?
The Vivir el Vino Guide is an annual publication that selects and reviews the 365 best wines of the year in Spain. In its latest edition, the tasting panel blind-tasted over 1,600 samples, highlighting those that stand out for their quality and uniqueness. The guide has become a trusted reference for wine professionals and enthusiasts, offering recommendations based on rigorous tastings and analysis.

Torelló 225, 2016: 96 points
This sparkling wine received the highest score among our selections, standing out for its “high intensity, with excellent ageing notes and yeasts… On the palate, it is attractive, broad, and shows great structure and power.” Made from carefully selected grapes from our best plots, Torelló 225 ages in French oak barrels, adding complexity and elegance to its profile.
Gran Torelló, 2013: 93 points
Made from Xarel·lo, Macabeo, and Parellada, Gran Torelló is a long-aged sparkling wine that reflects the essence of our terroir at Can Martí Estate. Aged for over 72 months in the bottle, it features fine, persistent bubbles and aromatic notes reminiscent of freshly baked pastries, white fruits, and floral hints. On the palate, it is well-balanced, with refreshing acidity and a long, elegant finish.
Tradicional Brut Nature, 2014: 93 points
This sparkling wine is known for its freshness and versatility. With no added sugars, Tradicional Brut Nature showcases the purity of the traditional Penedès grape varieties. On the nose, it reveals aromas of green apple, citrus, and a subtle touch of dried fruits. On the palate, it is vibrant, with well-integrated bubbles and a crisp, dry finish, making it an excellent choice for food pairings.
Gran Crisalys, 2018: 92 points
Gran Crisalys is a white wine that blends Xarel·lo and Chardonnay. Part of the Xarel·lo is aged in second- and third-year barrels, while the Chardonnay is aged in new barrels for about four months. This process enhances the wine’s aromatic complexity, with notes of tropical fruits, citrus, and a subtle toasted background. On the palate, it is broad, with balanced acidity and a long, lingering finish.
Malvarel·lo, 2019: 90 points
Malvarel·lo is a distinctive wine that blends Malvasia and Xarel·lo. This unique combination results in a fresh and floral aromatic profile, featuring notes of white flowers, pear, and a hint of herbs. On the palate, it is light but characterful, with refreshing acidity and a pleasantly fruity finish.
