Torelló “Vertical Tasting”

One of the most special projects of Torelló has just been released. These are the vertical tasting cases (“Cata Vertical”), in Torelló 225 and Finca Can Martí versions.

From our private enotheque we selected the most interesting vintages of two of our Corpinnat sparkling wines and we selected a sample of each. In this way, in each “Vertical Tasting” wooden case, the three different vintages of the same sparkling wine can be tasted, which allows to see how the time is expressed in the glass. Thus, each person can enjoy the particularities that define each vintage and feel how it is reflected in the sparkling wine.

This new project begins with two versions, one dedicated to the Torelló 225 – with the 2010, 2012 and 2014 vintages – and another with three vintages from the Finca Can Martí – in its case, with the 2012, 2013 and 2014 -.

All the cases are accompanied by a short presentation of the project and a description of the harvests of the different years, so those who taste them can be accompanied by explanations. How do warm years affect the harvest. And the rainy springs? What do they pair best with?

With these vertical tastings we hope to satisfy all those who enjoy the nuances of long-aged sparkling wines. A whole journey towards the senses, memories and sensations.
