The report on sparkling wines from Catalonia by taster Tom Hewson for Timatkin.com has just been published. In the introduction, he begins his Special Report by highlighting that this has been “Corpinnat’s year.” And indeed it has been, not only because there have been many new additions to the portfolio, but also because the vast majority of the Corpinnat wines he tasted received very high scores.

Regarding Torelló, Tom Hewson tasted four of our sparkling wines. He awarded the Torelló Collection Brut Nature 2014 94 points, classifying it as an Excellent Wine, and described it as a complete and compelling wine that excels in almost every aspect of balance, refinement, and complexity. He rates the Gran Torelló 2016, the Torelló 225 Brut Nature 2018 and the Torelló 3a 19/20/21 with 92 points and very good wines.

We are very pleased that Corpinnat, the collective brand we founded in 2017 together with 5 other wineries, now has 22 members and continues to have expectations of growth and of continuing to transform the sparkling wine of our beloved Penedés.
