What are Miquel Hudin’s tasting notes?

For Torelló Collection 2015, the tasting note is as follows:

Dried lemon peel with a fine touch of toffee and lighter honeyed touches at the base. Delicate, seductive and lengthy like fine silk on the palate.

For Gran Torelló Grandes Añadas 2014, Miquel Hudin highlights the following:

Very delicate, subtle dried orchard fruit notes with a softer touch of white pepper and ginger spice on top of gentle brioche. Rich and lengthy on the palate, caramel aspects really coming forward notes with wonderful length on the palate.

Lastly, for Gran Torelló 2016, he notes:

Nicely spiced dried fruits with notes of fig and lighter ginger as well as dried apricot. Lengthy and nicely structured on the palate with a very fine, complex finish.

Miquel Hudin is a Californian wine writer based in Catalonia. He began his career in the wine world in Napa Valley, where he created the first Vinologues book series and later the website Hudin.com. He received the Wine & Innovations award at Millésima in 2020. In 2017, he was named Best Wine Writer at the Fortnum & Mason Awards, and in 2016 he received the Geoffrey Roberts Award.
